Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This page explains what happens with your money if a project changes, moves, or does not go ahead as planned. Your project’s signed agreement is still the final word if anything here does not match it.
Deposits
Standard terms are half down to start the work and half when the last part is done, or paid in full, unless your agreement says otherwise. The deposit books your date and time on our schedule.
Moving a shoot day
Moving the shoot at least 4 days before the date is free.
Moving it with less notice than that costs 20 percent of what that shoot costs, added as a line on your project’s final invoice. This is never charged separately, and never added twice for the same move. An owner can waive it.
Cancelling the job outright
If you cancel the job outright, the fee is set by notice, and your deposit counts toward it. More than 14 days before the shoot, only the money already spent on the job (flights, rentals) is charged, and the rest of the deposit goes back to you. From 14 days to 72 hours before, the fee is the deposit. Inside 72 hours, or on a no show, it is the full shoot day rate on your plan. Depending on what you have already paid, that means either one more invoice for the part not yet covered, or a credit back to you. If we cancel, you get a full refund of any money not yet used and pay no fee to rebook. We will tell you which one applies and the exact number before anything is billed.
Weather and events outside anyone's control
If a shoot day cannot happen because of weather or another event outside your control or ours, we move it to the next date that works for both sides. No fee applies when the move is not your choice.
Cuts
Your package includes a set number of cuts, the number your agreement lists. Those are included in your price. A cut past that number is priced separately, based on how much work it takes, and we will tell you the number before we start on it rather than surprise you on the invoice.
Packages with a term
Some of our work, like a social package, runs on a term rather than a single project. If you want to stop a package before its term ends, email workwith@runngun.us and tell us the date you want it to stop. We refund the unused paid time, prorated to the date you stop.
Refunds
When a refund is owed, it goes back to the same card, wire account, or Zelle account the original payment came from. We do not send refunds to a different account or a different person.
Chargebacks
If you have a question about a charge, email us first at workwith@runngun.us. We would rather sort it out directly than have it go through your bank or card company as a chargeback, and a direct conversation is almost always faster for you too.
