Terms of Service
Last updated: October 7, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Run N Gun Studios client portal at www.rngportals.com (“the portal”). The company behind the portal is Run N Gun LLC, doing business as Run N Gun Studios, address 1522 Gordon Street, Hollywood, California, contact workwith@runngun.us.
Using the portal
Accounts are invite only. We set you up, or your project’s owner on our side does. Keep your login private. If you think someone else has gotten into your account, tell us right away at workwith@runngun.us.
Use the portal for what it is built for: working with us on your project, reviewing cuts, signing agreements, paying invoices, and messaging our team. Do not use it to try to reach data that is not yours, to interfere with how it runs, or to copy or share anything from it beyond what your own agreement with us allows.
Your project's signed agreement controls
Each project has its own signed agreement covering the scope, the price, the schedule, and the specific terms of that job. If anything in these portal terms conflicts with what your signed agreement says, your signed agreement wins. These terms cover the portal itself: the account, the messaging, the payment flow. Your agreement covers the work.
Payments and late fees
Invoices are payable through the portal by card (through Stripe), or by wire or Zelle. Standard terms are half to start and half when the last part of the work is done, or paid in full, unless your agreement says otherwise.
The balance is due within 7 days of good to go on the final cut, or the drop. On a shoot only job, the drop is the raws handed off, 2 days after the shoot. If the balance is overdue, a late fee of $100 a week applies, starting the day after its due date. This only applies when we choose to add it, it is not automatic, and it will show as its own line on your account so it is never hidden in the total.
Who owns what
The finished work we make for you belongs to you once it is delivered and paid for, on the terms your signed agreement sets out. After the drop we may show finished work on our own site or elsewhere, unless you opt out in writing. The showcase setting in your account starts on for a new client, and you can turn it off any time.
The raws and other project files we hold during and after a job (stored in Cloudflare R2, with larger files on Google Drive) are handled the way your agreement describes. Once a project is fully closed with no activity for 3 months, its files clear out automatically, with our team getting a 14 day heads up first and the chance to keep anything worth keeping. Signed agreements, invoices, and receipts are never cleared this way, they are kept.
Moving or cancelling a shoot
You get one free move, with at least 72 hours notice, to a date that is open on our calendar. Inside 72 hours a move is handled as a cancel. Cancelling is set by notice, and your deposit counts toward the fee: more than 14 days before the shoot, only the money already spent on the job, and the rest of the deposit goes back; from 14 days to 72 hours, the deposit; inside 72 hours, or on a no show, the full shoot day rate for the crew booked. An owner can waive a fee. The full detail, including packages and refunds, is in the refund and cancellation policy.
Keeping things confidential
We do not share your project details, your files, or the terms of your agreement with anyone outside the people working on your job, except where the law requires it or you ask us to. We expect the same from you about anything we share with you that is not already public, like our rate sheet, our internal process, or another client’s work you were not meant to see.
The AI assistant
The portal includes an assistant that helps write messages and documents using your project’s details. It writes a first pass. It never sends anything on your behalf or on ours without a person checking it first. Treat anything the assistant writes as a starting point, not a final word, until someone on our team has read it.
Disclaimers
We do our best to keep the portal running and accurate, but we do not promise it will be free of every error or interruption. The portal is provided as it is. We are not responsible for delays or problems caused by something outside our reasonable control, like an outage at one of the outside services we rely on (Render, Vercel, Stripe, Google, and the others).
Limitation of liability
Our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the portal, separate from the terms of your signed project agreement, is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question, the same cap as your signed agreement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Ending your access
We can suspend or end your portal access if these terms are broken, if your project has ended and there is no ongoing reason for access, or if we are asked to by law. You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing workwith@runngun.us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
If there is a dispute
Talk to us first. Email workwith@runngun.us and we will try to sort it out directly. If that does not work, we go to mediation, and then to the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
Fonts and credits
The portal’s display type, Staatliches, and its body type, Inter, are both released under the SIL Open Font License. On Apple devices the portal also uses SF Pro, the system font, through the device’s own font stack. It is never bundled or embedded as a file, which keeps it inside Apple’s own terms.
